"It was A decent stay. There isn’t much around to choose from and it’s a very authentic cabin experience. The property grounds seem nice. Restaurant on property was good but a bit overpriced. Staff was very friendly. There is ZERO service or Wi-Fi which I get but we still needed to be able to work a little. "
"I would recommend this property for the entire experience of being close to Yellowstone without crowds. The owner let us eat dinner early as we mentioned we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Accommodating, friendly, home cooked dinner and breakfast. Cabin was immaculate. Lodge is perfect for gatherings like family reunions, etc. Quiet and peaceful. You won't be disappointed."
"I'm afraid the Trail Inn is on its way out. Check in was at 4:00. We had reservations in June for stay in August. The room hadn't been cleaned yet. When we came back 1 1/2 hours later, pillows not on bed, etc. Cracks in the windows.
No curtains on bathroom windows. skimpy curtain on one bedroom window. We used towels to cover. Fan in one bedroom broken shield, dangerous to use. Unkept grounds. restaurant closed for season already and no one in office most of time. Sad, sad place."
