The staff tried to overcharge me with fees that were not disclosed and different from what was represented by Expedia. As a result of my own self-advocacy, I was able to get the unauthorized fees removed. The staff appear to be encouraged to upcharge. Also, this hotel is advertised as a 5-star hotel. It does not meet that standard. It is really akin to a 4-star hotel. Ultimately, it was overpriced and I will not stay there again particularly given the upcharging and unauthorized fees.

Overall nice room but I did request a high floor and quiet I didn’t get either one . Our room was over the courtyard which has an outdoor dining restaurant so was noisy at times Also at night the nearby street had police sirens at all times during the night The cleaning staff was at times very noisy in the halls - Good A/C

O hotel é incrível. Bem localizado, ótimo café da manhã, limpo, bem cuidado etc. O ponto fraco foi o ar-condicionado do meu quarto. O controle não funcionou em nenhum dos dias. Ora muito quente, ora muito frio. O controle era feito pela recepção do hotel, já que o controle do quarto não funcionou. Isto fez a hospedagem ser desconfortável. O que me irritou foi a resposta que obtive dos funcionários: não temos outro quarto desta categoria para realocação e não temos técnicos para consertar.

Beautiful hotel on a miraculously quiet street. Staff is wonderful and cannot do enough for you. Rooms a bit small but by European standards maybe slightly larger. Only complaint is that in our deluxe room the bathroom was not separate so that there was no privacy whatsoever and the toilet also part of the larger room. This was off-putting.

Sehr kleine Zimmer, Hotel wird als 5 Sterne verkauft, verdient jedoch maximal 3. Kleines Restaurant, praktisch keine Infrastruktur, ein einziger Lift der auch noch kaputt ist. Licht funktioniert nicht richtig, nach dem Duschen ist das Badezimmer überschwemmt. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

My wife and I spent a week at this hotel in March. It was our first time in Paris and we wanted to stay in the Latin quarter on the advice of a friend who travels to Paris with some regularity. The hotel was absolutely perfect and we loved it. The entire staff was amazing and helpful. We spent some time in the cafe and had a few meals there and really enjoyed the service and the food was very good. The front desk was always available with great suggestions for local restaurants and shops. It’s a 5 minute walk to the c train which will take you directly to the Eiffel Tower and Versailles. We hope to get back to Paris soon and plan to stay here again. Thank you all. Sincerely, The Lees
