Great room and hotel. Location near Metro so worked out great for getting around. One issue was in the room we had it appeared to have water damage on ceiling and should fix that as mold was growing on it as well….

Great place to stay at Place d’Italie. Hotel is well maintained. Taxi stand is next to the hotel. Subway is just few steps, good restaurants, pharmacy and supermarkets are close to the hotel. Really convenient.

The Hotel is quite near to Metro exit 3 at Place d'Italie. A few nice places to have breakfast or just a coffee / drink are around the corner. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and helpfull. We'll sure come again.

Home away from home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Inn Design. The beds were so comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very clean and the staff extremely helpful, friendly and enjoyable to be around. I would definitely recommend this place. We stay in a room with a balcony which was an added bonus. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

Great hotel, clean and quiet, close to metro. Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Very nice staff, we asked for some croissants to go the day of departure since we needed to leave the hotel 1 hour before the breakfast started, and they opened the whole breakfast area for us that early! Highly recommended, will be back.

Stayed 2 nights in Paris in September 2024. It was a nice and convenient place in the midst of the city. By mistake we got a crib for a baby, but the room had also a sleeping chair for older child, so we were good. The staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean and quiet. The place is conveniently located near subway station, McDonalds, KFC and a shopping mall. The breakfast was good, but it is not included in the price of the stay. We would definitely stay again in the future visit.

While I specifically booked and reserved a room with two beds, that request was not honored on the first night. If I paid for it, you keep that reservation and do not give it away! Extremely dissapponted.

Do not stay here!!!

Terrible service. Jackhammers out front and no flexibility or warning. Asked me at check in if elevator sound would bother me as if the jackhammers wouldn’t. Got no sleep and asked for a late check out to gather myself, met with indignation.

This my experience and it may be a one in a million chance, but there was a dead mouse in on pillow, it seems it has been there for some months already. The staff instead of helping me just said that it was impossible, so I suggest 3 options. 1. Clean very well the room and chance the sheets and pillows. 2. Change me to another room. 3. Refound. The promise me that they were going to clean the room, but they didn't and I could notice it due that arriving the room I inspected because sadly Paris was having a bed bug crisis at that moment, and I have moved the pillows It's near a metro station and breakfast was ok.

The location is great, it is only 2 mins away from the metro station. However, the hotel is not what I thought it would be. The room, executive double is extremely small. The bedsheets were dirty and we had to request some clean ones and even those ones were stained. On our first night there, towards the morning, we woke up terrified due to a fire alarm. We were on the 7th floor and it took us some time to make it downstairs, however even when we did go there, no one was able to tell us what caused the alarm to go off. No communication or just a courtesy message to put us all at ease. I am happy that we didn’t need to put the AC on, as that would have blown a lot of dirt and dust. For a hotel so big, there is only one lift, and in the morning it stopped at every single floor before it even reached the last floor (7th).

Great location, terrible service

Despite the great location close to metro, I would never stay here again. When I check in I was booked into a 1st floor room right by the elevator, which makes loud announcements at each floor. There was a roof outside my window covered in cigarette butts. It felt very unsafe to know that people loitered right outside my window, so I asked for a new room. I was happy to get one the next day, but my happiness was short-lived. There was a heatwave going through Paris during my stay and the AC in the new room didn’t work. Apparently, this was a known, widespread problem affecting many rooms and wasn’t going to get fixed until the following week, but it took multiple interactions with the front desk staff to get the full story. The road noise was so loud that keeping the window open wasn’t an option, and there was no fridge in the room so you couldn’t even cool off with a cold drink. I did finally manage to get a large fan, which I had to lug up to my room myself. The beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was so old and worn out that there was a visible concave dip in the center and you were lying directly on the wooden slats below. The worst part, however, was the front desk staff. Although some of them were ok, one woman clearly disliked customers and made into attempt to hide the fact that every time you talked to her you were a huge burden and a terrible inconvenience and you should really just go away and stop bothering her.
