This brilliantly located boutique hotel is just wonderful. The staff were great. The location near to Notre Dame and Le Marais was convenient and walkable. The hotel is freshly renovated and is the site of an ancient royal French sports facility hence its name. The room was lovely and all in all this was a perfect place to stay

Rooms a nice and spacious, clean with comfortable beds. Air conditioning was a must have as the temperature peaked at 38 during our stay. Staff are fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. Buffet breakfast had more than enough to start your day. The building is full of history and positioned perfectly for exploring the local area.

Very friendly staff. Location was excellent. Dining, bakeries, sweets were all within a short walk. We had the 2 floor room. Stairs were a bit scarey. Definitely not for unsteady feet. The top floor had air con- what a plus this summer. Would stay again.

This hotel was lovely. Wonderful location and the front desk staff was amazing. They kept our bags for hours before and after check out so we could sightsee around Paris. They gave us recommendations and had our room ready early. The air conditioning worked perfectly even in 102 degree weather! The shower head was a bit clogged but otherwise we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was small but clean and bed was very sturdy and comfortable. The lobby has a lovely fireplace and is a great place to sit in the evenings. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Well located on the quiet Ile St. Louis but still right in the heat of Paris, this hotel is ideal for visiting Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Conciergerie, and all the sights in central Paris. At night the area has a village atmosphere, with quaint restaurants, shops and galleries.

This beautiful historic hotel offers, without a doubt, the most peaceful city stay I have ever had. Tucked away in a serene courtyard on a charming street lined with small independent shops, it feels like stepping into another world. We booked two rooms - my daughter stayed on the ground floor overlooking the gorgeous courtyard, and mine was on the second floor. Both rooms were beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and exceptionally quiet. The beds and pillows deserve special mention - I can't remember the last time I slept so well in a hotel! What truly sets this property apart is the people. All the staff were warm and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Reception was outstanding, and every team member was wonderful. Meeting regular guests who love returning only added to that sense of belonging- everyone clearly agreed on how special this place is. My daughter also adored Arctic, the hotel's resident Golden Retriever! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We will be back and wholeheartedly recommend the Hôtel du Jeu de Paume!

Well beware that even though they show this lovely steam/sauna room in their photos, it is not included in the price…when you inquire about using the steam room they don't tell you it’s an extra fee so know that it’s 30 euro extra and if you say oh I thought it was included, they tell you it’s on their website, although I found that nowhere was that mentioned- Other than that, it has very comfortable beds, in a great location! The breakfast is wonderful as well-:)
