"Room was a bit dated but spotless, the staff excellent, fabulous location and views. Only drawback was the beach had suffered storm erosion and it and the beach bar was closed. Jetty park and beautiful beaches very close by. The restaurant, a separate attached business, was always hopping with great food and extensive bar with excellent staff. I expect to return many times. "The A/C worked fine. I realize that it is an older hotel but, attention to cleaning in the rooms and focus on the outside area is needed. The curtains needed serious cleaning. The small light on the nightstand had a scorch on the shade. Replacing that is a must. The beds were comfortable and made up nicely. Cleaning the baseboards in the room was needed. The TV would turn off in the middle of a show. Could not watch any programs. The staff were very nice. The phone in the room did not work. That was an inconvenience because for the issues we were having we had to go down to the office."
