"Very quirky place to stay, we thought the room being behind the bookcase was really cool! I wasn’t as a fan of the photos on the ceiling though Overall I can’t complain about the place, the staff were nice and the shared bathrooms were perfectly clean. "Although the interior of the property is pretty dated, it was very clean, comfortable bed, the staff were very accomodating, wonderful hot shower and the bathroom was fairly new compared to the rest of the room. It is a budget hotel after all so overall was very happy with our stay. Transport nearby, approx 10 mins and plenty of shops and places to eat near. Enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam."

"Very friendly staff and a fantastic location. Bathroom was a bit small but efficient. The room we were put in had NO view to speak of as our windows were 5 feet off the ground so you couldnt see anything down, only up. Be sure to request a room with FULL WINDOWS. It was a little claustrophobic. But since we didnt spend much time in the room as we were exploring the city, it wasnt a real deal breaker."
