Great place to stay just outside of Yosemite! Amazing room, comfy beds, private bathroom, great food at June Bug Cafe and the quiet and peace of outdoors. :) highly recommend
Clean and quiet room, very comfortable bed. Helpful staff. This is a hillside property so there are steps in various places. So nice to have a restaurant on-site. I hope to try the hot tub and massage next time.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Very clean rooms, beautiful property, excellent food service in the cafe.
We had an amazing stay here!
The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming
Waking up in the morning, stepping out onto the balcony with a cup of coffee, and enjoying the beautiful view was one of the highlights of our trip
There are barbecue areas, a fire pit, and plenty of activities on the property. The resort is surrounded by a peaceful forest, which makes it a perfect place to unwind and recharge away from the city
We can’t wait to come back and stay at Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort for a longer visit in the spring ;)
The room is exactly like the pictures and was exactly what we paid for. It is a little hard to find but once we arrived the staff was very nice and our room was very quiet, peaceful, and clean
Great staff, great price. Nicely decorated room. 40 minutes from Yosemite entrance (maybe less for others), and 15 minutes from Mariposa where you can get everything you need.
What a brilliant place! Our room was clean and the location was Exceptional. Junbug restaurant was delicious food a the spa was an incredible bonus. Highly recommend
Loved the stay here; we were scared of getting no mobile reception and no restaurants but we got WiFi across the resort and good food and drinks in the property itself at the bug cafe.
This location is nice and cozy. It's right in the forest so you feel secluded from the traffic. The cabins are separated into 2 rooms in one cabin like a duplex. The room decor however creeped us a little l. There was a skull on the dresser and the rustic fan was weird to look at. I still enjoyed the place very much. The spa was relaxing and the breakfast they serve was so great we finished everything we got. Also the shared kitchen is nice. We brought some food for us to cook. Nice concept. Thank you for having an ev charger it helped us out.
Room was in good condition and clean, very small though, and few amenities in room. No tv, fridge or microwave. Nice shower though. Spa and jacuzzi were an extra $20 per person per day which was very disappointing since it seemed like it was included when I booked. Also no breakfast or coffee included and the food at the June Bug Cafe was pretty mediocre. Also kind of hard to get fresh towels. Great view and comfortable bed on the plus side. Overall a clean resort with the basics and nice view but not luxurious.
We loved it for what it was. The only issue was the sloppy guest that didnt clean up after THEMSELVES in the guest kitchen. Otherwise all was great and we would definitely come back again.

This feedback is to Expedia. Expedia has confirmed my booking and while reaching at hotel, I have been told that my stay was not confirmed as they think the listing price was extremely low and Expedia has incorrectly listed price without their confirmation. Also, I have been told that they haven't received money as well from Expedia.
The description of this place was very misleading. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and atmosphere were disappointing.
The restaurant area was unsanitary — one employee was handling food and money with the same gloves, and another was breading chicken while using his phone, touching both the screen and the food. The odor was terrible, resembling that of a toilet, and the shared kitchen was dirty and smelled bad as well.
We also chose this location for the hot tub and onsite café, but the hot tub required an additional $20 per person per day, which was not clearly stated in advance.
At night, the property was very noisy, with large groups of teenagers running on the connected deck walkways and through the gravel late into the night.
We ended up “embracing the suck” for two nights since a refund was not an option, but the experience was nothing like what was advertised. Overall, this felt much more like a hostel than a lodge — not at all as described online.
I can imagine this place being fun if you’re there for an extended stay with a group and love lots of stairs and poor lighting after a long day of hiking. I booked here for the hot tub, which is featured on Expedia without disclosing that it’s not included in the price. And I still would have happily paid the “spa” fee, except it was closed by the time I actually found my room 25 minutes later fumbling in the dark with a low quality map and poor signage. Because that’s how my stay started, it was very easy to nitpick from there: no labels on bathroom products, bathroom products had been mixed with water to expand life, dried contact lenses on rug from prior guest, and I messaged them directly to share concerns and they didn’t respond. On top of that, it was still an hour to Yosemite because of road repairs. It was a disappointment as a 1 night guest arriving late and leaving early.
