Cool place to stay outside of Yosemite. This place offers a variety of options so people can stay in a way that works for them. The in-site restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend getting the day pass at the spa for an evening soak in the hot tub.

It feels like a hostel that has a lot amenities even with a guest kitchen from where you can cook and enjoy yourself. Apart from that, the cafe is also splendid that serves good dishes.

Great location with nice views. Property was quiet and family friendly. Restaurant is convenient and has good quality food. I did not use the wellness center but it looked nice. Would definitely come back.

I loved this place! The shared kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were cute and a great small fridge was in the room. They are all decorated differently and ours was so unique and cool. The food at the restaurant was very yummy.

Clean sheets and bed out in the forest! Shower too. Great way to lead up to Yosemite. Elev is 2575 ft. Good food in restaurant, open til 9 pm. Everything cooked to order. Plenty to take back to bungalow. Kitchen on site for microwave cookers staying in tents. Not for handicapped people.

The rooms are basic, but clean and new. My room had a fridge, A/C, and a small balcony at the door with a sitting area for two. I was surprised by the restaurant with fairly large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had a vegan entree for dinner, which was good but not great, still worth the money and added variety (and tastes better) than my camping fare. I was solo and this was my kick off to several days of hiking in Yosemite.

We stayed here with our family for two nights since Yosemite National Park is close by. There is a restaurant on-site where you can order food, or you can cook for yourself in the kitchen. The grounds are nice enough, but the room was small, the bed sheets were not very clean, and the shower cabin was extremely small. The shower gel, shampoo, and soap were very watery because they had been diluted with water. Every time a car drove past, our cabin shook like an earthquake. To be honest, I wouldn't stay here a second time. I'm giving it 3 stars mainly for the location, as the hotel is right in the forest.

Best thing was that it was near the El Portal entrance to Yosemite National Park. Parking was a nightmare especially if you arrive later in the evening. Room was eclecticly decorated. Bathroom was newer and shower was nice.

This is a wonderful “family camp” style place to stay. It’s affordable, and close to Yosemite, and offers rooms with multiple beds. But be aware that it’s very much a camp vibe - not hotel or resort. Workers and guests are friendly. Food is good and served in large portions. Overall we enjoyed its rustic charms.

We had a great stay here! The rooms were spacious with a charming, old-school feel. The location is about an hour’s drive from Yosemite Valley in Mariposa, set in a truly gorgeous area. The restaurant served amazing food at very good value for money, especially the trail lunch pack, which was both affordable and incredibly well prepared. The cheap laundry facilities were also very convenient during our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and offered plenty of great recommendations for things to do in Yosemite Valley, which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend this place!
