Modala Beach Resort

"We had a wonderful stay at Modala Resort! The breakfast was one of the highlights, offering a great variety of delicious local dishes and delicacies. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The best feature of the resort, though, was the beach—it was clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. Our daughter had the best time playing by the beach and making wonderful memories. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing getaway!"

"We were only there for 1 night. To be honest all was really good except for 1 thing and that 1 thing may not be important to you, but it is very important to me. The breakfast buffet was a 2 out of 10. I would have given it a 1 but surely somewhere in the world there is worse. It's true they have an egg station which I love to have. I asked for 3 eggs over medium and the eggs were cooked (almost burnt) so no way I could eat them. The bacon was tough and non edible unless your a dog! We loved the room and sorry this ruined it for us. So the Lime is a good 1 night stay, close to the airport."

"Rooms were exceptionally clean and staff were incredible. It's an ideal place to stay because it's a 2 min drive or 5 min walk to the hotel from from the airport. I will always stay here when visiting Manila!"

"Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the strip of road leading to the entrance of hotel, it is unpaved and bumpy, not taxi friendly ."

"The hotel staff were all so helpful, honest, and friendly. Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Any concerns we had in our room was attended to right away. Hotel amenities are all so nice with the beach, the view.. koi ponds, courtyard, cafe, swimming pool, pingpong table, and pickleball court. Clean white sand. Snorkeling near corals and kayaking near mangroves within 10 minutes. Perfect! They even delivered complimentary local delicacies to our room everyday, delicious We left a few things in the room upon checking out and called a day later; they had found it and put it aside. Excellent value and we’ll definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely big rooms and a very well maintained resort. It has its own pool but you can also use the pool/jacuzzi/swim-up bar of the sister resort next door. It’s easily walkable to both the beach and main stretch of Alona Beach. I only had breakfast once but it was reasonably priced and very speedy. The only slightly negative is that the road immediately outside the resort is paved but the roads that link everywhere else are unpaved/rocky tracks and not very well lit at night. It’s not the most comfortable if arriving by taxi/tricycle."
