The room, which was a suite, had repairs done that were done horribly, especially the shower which was moldy, the shower door barely closed all the way, the water pressure was super low, and the stall smelled like marijuana. There was a horrible mold smell that most likey came from the poor AC units that struggled to pull the moisture from the air, everything in the room was always damp. I'm a former resident of Panama City, and so I understand humidity in the air but that was bad. Plus, the dining room chairs all had leg issues, literally about to fall off. Closet doors couldn't shut because they didn't fit the frame. The AC in the hallways outside the rooms hardly cooled, so it was hot and muggy everywhere. The front desk gentleman that worked the evenings needs a refresher on customer service, he literally rolled his eyes when I asked him for a blanket and sheet set for the pull out bed that was missing in our room, I interrupted his video watching on his phone. Side note, this was my second room, first room had bugs in the bed the were questionable, and the mattress was very dirty, this room also smelled super musty. Switching rooms and having them fix the chairs and provide the missing sheet at is the only thing I brought up to the staff, since those things seemed to cause the poor reactions from the front desk. One girl at the desk was sweet and the breakfast was decent, plus the cleaning staff was friendly, that's the only nice things i could say.
