Palo Alto hotel rooms a the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"This is a bare-bones hotel. No coffee maker, no ice maker, no facial tissues. No daily linen service. There is no public main lounge for coffee or breakfast. All transactions are done through a glass pane. The parking is a pain. You must park between very narrow poles. If you do manage to park, you might not be able to get out of the car, it is that tight! The cars are underneath the rooms. My smoke alarm went off at 4am waking me out of a sound sleep. I gave it to the manage. It was never replaced during my stay. But the room was clean!"

"Small but clean rooms. Quiet. Bed was fine. Major complaint was $10.00 for parking when their website said it was free. Breakfast was standard motel breakfast."

"Very cool and stylish property. I loved the theme throughout the hotel. Furnishings felt like they were in good condition. The bed was very comfortable for a 5 month pregnant guest! The $25 credit for food/drink was very nice and I made use of it. I think the breakfast was better than the lunch/dinner offerings. The coffee in the room could be better. I didn't use it since it was just instant coffee. Great location, friendly staff. Would come again. "
