"The mattress was uncomfortable. The floor lamp didn’t work. The towels were small and paper thin. The floor was dirty. There was no decaf coffee or tea. The bathroom door was translucent and let enough light into the room at night to wake up my husband."

"When we checked it turns out they gave us a nice room but not the specific one that I booked which was one of the most expensive rooms. When I brought this up they blamed Expedia and said they couldn’t do anything about it. Expedia blamed the property. Don’t know who to believe . Probably won’t be staying there again"

10/10 Excellent

"Really nice hotel. Classic older California hotel that's been recently and nicely renovated. Nice area. All the fixtures and furniture are new and well maintained. Immaculately clean. Quiet. Staff are excellent and helpful. Great breakfasts. Definitely recommend it. I will stay there again. Reasonably priced. A very Zen experience. Loved it."
