"I couldn’t fault the Salt of Palmar Hotel. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent quality and cooked to order. I would recommend the all inclusive option as not so many other options nearby. Very good coffee also. The location is on the East coast, so a bit windier. We took a few snorkelling trips on the hotel’s boat, which was amazing. We stayed 2 weeks and took some days out to tour the island, lots of trips/tours available. "I have stayed at the hotel on a number of occassions and highly recommend it for its proximity to the airport. However the Hotels site states "Enjoy seamless travel with a top-rated airport shuttle for easy transfers" and theb further down the site, "Airport transportation included". I was booked on the early flight on Kenya Airways and when I went to the desk for the shuttel was told that it does not run early morning. I had to arrange a Plan B."
