Amazing stay at Lux Grand Gaube. I booked 7 rooms for several families. When we checked-in, management decided to bless us with a few service upgrades. Unfortunately it was winter and we couldn't enjoy swimming and water activities as much since the water temperature and weather was a bit cold, nonetheless the activities are there. We had booked half board and only ate at the buffet, and the food was still exceptional and tasty. Loads of variety to choose from. I've done several hotels in Mauritius in the past, and so far this one tops my list. Can't wait for my next trip to Mauritius again to visit the other Lux hotels.

We’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels all over the world, and the Lux Grand Gaube is up there towards the very top of the list. The hotel design is jawdroppingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included.

Tout était réuni pour des vacances parfaites : Le cadre paradisiaque, entre plages sublimes, végétation luxuriante et architecture soignée. Un personnel incroyablement attentionné, toujours souriant, disponible et chaleureux, sans jamais être envahissant. Des restaurants variés et délicieux, avec des plats raffinés, locaux comme internationaux. Des activités nombreuses (kayak, paddle, yoga, vélo, etc.) et une ambiance toujours sereine. Et surtout, cette sensation de bien-être et de lâcher-prise dès l’arrivée… difficile à décrire, mais inoubliable. Chaque détail est pensé pour vous faire vivre une expérience unique. This property epitomises luxury. It’s all in the detail. Flavoured water on the beach, ice buckets filled with drink whilst sunbathing, gourmet food and ice cream. The staff give you that boutique feel and the honey made on site is a lovely touch. We moved onto another property at a different part of the island and if it wasn’t fully booked we would head straight back to the lux*. It’s another level

Excellent hotel

From the moment we arrived at this hotel the service was top notch. First glimpse of the hotel is stunning and it continues from there. The room and bathroom were beautiful. All the rooms have a gorgeous ocean view. Breakfast (included) was delicious and you lacked for nothing. I highly recommend staying here
