"This is an incredible resort situated on a peninsula with a lot of wildlife, from monkeys to sloths to birds such as scarlet macaws and cara caras. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful! The restaurants serve delicious foods and the Fracata has gorgeous views over the Pacific. Everything was impeccably clean and there were staff members constantly taking care of the premises. They cleaned the room twice a day, always replenishing the fresh towels (large!) and bottles of water. We received a room upgrade (unbelievable room!), checked in 3 hours early and got an extension of 3 hours for check-out, which was fantastic since we went on a tour on the last morning. Our stay was unforgettable and I hope we can return to this paradise! "

"Clean rooms and grounds. Friendly staff. Good food. Wash cloths we could have been appreciated, but we saw this at another place, maybe they don't use them? The view from our room was beautiful! And we loved the monkeys every morning on our bAlcony. But watch your things! The walk to the beach is not the easiest but we did enjoy the beach. The pools, restaurant, bar and staff are great.its on a very steep hill so beware of that but staff will golf cart you up and down if desired."

"Beautiful resort to spend time with family. Vegetarian dinner options were limited at La Casa restaurant and kind of expensive (nevertheless, you have a lot of restaurants outside at La Fortuna, but everything else in the resort was very nice and awesome! Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, resort is clean, pools, hot springs were great! Excellent resort!! FIVE STARS! We went in December 2025!"

"The view from La Mariposa is spectacular. When you stay here you can expect friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food (breakfast is included with your stay), and the occasional wildlife sighting. We were greeted each morning by curious monkeys and colorful birds, which added another dynamic to our stay that made it unforgettable."
