"Was a lovey place and the pool was nice but could use new sun loungers. We paid for a queen room with pool view but was put in a family room, 3 single beds, then when asked was only moved to a double (without pool view). Breakfast selection was toast with toppings and cereal, a coffee machine and juices also. It states free toiletries upon booking, but they do not supply or have any at the hotel. It is a nice hotel, amazing staff, very peaceful and quite. We would return again."

Corinthia St George's Bay

10/10 Excellent

"On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. Our room was beautiful with a sea view and a balcony from which we were able to watch the sun set each evening. The hotel staff were very attentive and our room was cleaned each morning and turned down each evening. At Check-in we had mentioned it was our anniversary during our visit as are were asking about a nice restaurant to book, and had a lovely surprise when we returned to our room on the day to a folded towel display of swans/hearts, with a poem, chocolates and a bottle of prosecco on ice! Breakfast was a buffet on the lower floor. There was an excellent choice of foods, including local treats, and you could order coffees, freshly squeezed juice and omelettes cooked to order. The hotel is part of a group with 2 others and you could use the facilities of all. There were 3 outdoor swimming pools and an indoor one with a jacuzzi, however our favourite place to swim was in the sea at the Lido. There were plenty of lounge chairs and parasols for shade and staff from the poolside restaurants regularly passed by to take drinks/food orders. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails! We are already planning on next trip!"

"We had a fantastic stay at XVI Suites and would happily stay there again. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a modern and stylish feel throughout. Our room was comfortable, and had everything we needed. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and little details. The rooftop area is lovely and very nicely decorated. There's also a small swimming pool, which is perfect for cooling off and enjoying the views. The location is great for exploring Malta. The only thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a bit challenging, especially in the evenings when the area gets busier. The staff were amazing, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was another highlight. It's served à la carte rather than as a buffet, so everything is freshly prepared and really tasty, with nice options to choose from. Malta itself was much more beautiful than we expected, and XVI Suites was a great base for exploring the island. Overall, a wonderful stay and a hotel we'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Malta."

"The room and property was very clean. I got club access which was beneficial. I got to use the lounge for drinks, relaxation and pre-dinner snacks. The breakfast buffet was complete and full of variety. The rooftop pool was lovely and I used it a few times. Walking distance to the main area of St Julian. Let’s stay here again."

"I booked this hotel to be close by to relatives. The suite was a good size and well appointed. There are no staff so you have to use the code to get in but that's no problem for me. The Hotel is located right in the centre of the village, so it's nice to watch daily life go by. It's attached to the cafe below so you can grab a bite, or use the Band Club across the road. Just a couple of points to note - you are next to a church which for some reason chimes it's Bells from 4AM randomly...I didn't work out what the chilme related to chronologically! Also parking can be a challenge, same for anywhere in Malta. I always found a spot but had to walk a couple of minutes. These points are not directly related to the hotel however. I had a problem with the shower and it was fixed immediately so good response. Would I stay again? Yes without a doubt."
