"La Gemma was a beautiful place to stay. The host, Gemma, was such a lovely and hospitable person, making us feel welcome the moment we booked. She went above and beyond with our room and booking, walking us through maps of the area and events happening during our stay. She was also so kind and playfor with our 1 year old, giving her toys and making her a balloon animal. Breakfast was tailored and delicious. Overall a fantastic stay."

"Gorgeous 600 year old building right in the historic center. Great staff, gorgeous rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of Naple. Huge wooden door that closed at night for safety and for noise. Completely quiet even though it was a busy Friday night. Clean room and given a free drink in the lobby after 6:00. The elevator is very old and can only house two people at a time but still it great working condition. Would stay again. "

"A beautiful apartment in a good location. Very compact and it does have air conditioning although it’s quite loud, ear plugs are provided. It’s best to open the drawer of the unit which stands over the ac unit, the cold air comes through it! "

We asked them about hiking, island trips etc. the room was very clean and airy too, small nice treats for your mornings. One minor thing is lack of fan in bathrooms. "The host/owner is very nice and easy to reach. We stayed here on a last minute decision due to our ferry to Capri Being cancelled. If you are here in Naples for a few days this is an easy location to walk to the port (10-15) and to the town (2 min) "
