"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. "The hotel is a nice place to stay with its own beach. Employees from front of house to cleaning, the drivers and restaurant/bar staff was great. Even enough sunloungers for everyone. Breakfast was superb and suitably replenished. Hotel collection from airport free and whilst delayed, we were unable to confirm timings due to delays again flying with British Airways. But hotel did a really good job accommodating us. Thank you. I went diving in Agropoli - do contact Allessandro of Sub Mania - so easy to arrange - and my daughter visited Pompeii. Italian trains cheap and on time! Couple of negatives - the hotel is in the sticks, the cover charge a rip off when 2 of the party were young children, no real other dining options close by - although do go to il Primavera - 10 minute walk with good reasonably priced food and very friendly staff. Overall much praise. "
