"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. "The hotel is located off an unpaved road high in the hill country. While the views are phenomenal, the location is far from the major attractions (e.g., tea plantations, waterfalls), especially given the nearby road conditions. The rooms themselves were small and basic in terms of furnishings. There is no A/C in the rooms, so the humidity is high and require opening windows. The closest village has limited dining options for tourists, so we ate on site. The food quality was 'ok' with a mix of Western and local options. For what this property is and its location, the price per night is high. Key positive highlights are the views and the warm hospitality of the staff. "
