"The hotel is older and the rooms are VERY loud. You can hear everything your neighbors do. Do not expect to sleep in as you can hear every footstep, every door open and close, the toilet flush, shower turn on. The staff is wonderful and the location can't be beat. "

"Location was a block away from the beach; however, you had to walk three blocks to get to the stairs going down to the beach. Room is standard, window air conditioning unit. Only staff interaction was at the front desk and the girl seemed disinterested overall. Property is dated, uses actual metal keys and locks for the rooms."

"Property grounds are very pretty. Rooms are older and have potential but are somewhat dirty. Caked on grime and dust on the trim, on bottom of dresser, dirty hand prints on the bathroom door. Linens are extremely rough and the most horrible toilet tissue! Coffee tray was dirty with dried up food on it and covered in spilt coffee. Front desk staff has no clue about anything in the area as far as restaurants, shopping, etc. No security on the grounds so our neighbors partied until 4:00am and there was no one to contact regarding the situation. We won't return any longer."

"Great location (across the road from the beach) and excellent value. It's a nice place, not necessarily swanky or fancy, but suitable. The rooms are actually really spacious, which was nice. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. I took the recommendation of another reviewer and requested a room AWAY from the main road, which served us well (quieter). "

"Lovely stay at LBH. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the pool/hot tub were just right. The private balcony with partial ocean view is small, and the majority of the view is of the buildings between the hotel and the shore, so we didn’t spend much time there. Nonetheless no regrets staying here, would come back. And a special shoutout to the new Mexican restaurant across the street, Chelas. Superb."
