"Hotel was fully booked when we arrived, some mistake maybe because of Expedia or hotels.com. That should not be my problem to find out whose problem it is. It was us, a family of 4 who could not trust the booking system. However mistakes can happen, not the end of the world. However it took more then 4 days to speak to someone to start looking into refunding the stay. The hotel was contacted on a daily basis but never replied. Be careful when booking, make sure they really have a room."

"Very Misleading description !!!! We got there and found out that the beach is about 25min walk in a road full of rocks and not 1min walk from the beach as advertised !!!we ended up leaving immediately after finding the place because it’s not what we signed up for and didn’t feel safe ! When I told the guy there that the description said 1min walk from the beach and it is a long walk in an unsafe road , he didn’t care at allll!! He said that he will walk with us to the beach ??!!! Top Ounagha Hotel Reviews

Résidence Louzani

10/10 Excellent

"As two female travellers and our first time in Morocco, we were very happy to stay in this place on our first few nights. It was spacious and clean and the kitchen fully stocked for us to use. The rooftop view was wonderful to watch the sunset from. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and helped us with our luggage, storing it for us when we checked out for much of the day as well. It is a short walk to the beach and Medina. We felt safe and really enjoyed our stay, we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place - location wise it was perfect. Our room could have hosted a larger group/family as well."

Essaouira Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"The property was beautiful, the room was clean, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint is that the only place to sit outdoor and enjoy the gardens is the pool/dining area, which is always very busy. The pictures make it appear that there are other outdoor areas to sit and read a book, for example, but that is not the case. NOTE: If you want a calm, relaxing holiday, this is NOT the hotel for you. Even in the off season it is full of families with babies and young children, so there is a lot of noise early in the mornings and there is never really an opportunity to enjoy the pool and gardens."
