Brilliant glamping safari style. Great view over the mountains from the tents and you can see many springbok amongst others coming to drink from the dam. The pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day.

The best way to experience the Klein Karoo

A real highlight of our South African road trip. The tents are all on one side of a small lake - a bird haven. The views are gorgeous. The night sky is incredibly clear. And, because there’s only a dozen or so tents on the whole site, they’re well-spaced and private. Our tent was pretty well-provisioned with a full kitchen inside and a braai outside. The two double bedrooms share a private bathroom at the back of the tent. After checking in, we realised we were missing things off the inventory but Reception was closed (it shuts at 5pm). But when we reported the missing things the following day, they were all brought to us within minutes - excellent service. Our tent could have done with a little TLC - the front entrance was quite battered - but that’s the only tiny criticism. This is a space where you can really appreciate the beauty and silence of the Klein Karoo - I’d return in a shot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a true breakaway! Alfred was amazing with his service and assistance. The breakfasts are massive... and delicious. A definite must do for families (and couples) who love the outdoors while staying in relative luxury.

12 Zelte mitten auf einer Ranch. Kleiner Shop mit allem was man braucht. Gibt Frühstücks- und Grillkörbe zu bestellen. Im Zelt ist alles da. Auf der Ranch gibt es viele Tiere zu beobachten. Typisch für ein Zelt hört man alles um einen herum. Auch nachts die Tiere. Ein tolles Erlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Attraktionen (Straußenfarmen, gamelodges, tropfsteinhöle,...)

Die Unterkunft war der Hammer! Es war einfach nur ein Traum. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend, die Aussicht der Hammer. Wir können Camp Figtree und den Addo nur empfehlen. Genauso können wir die vom Camp organisierte Safari durch den Addo empfehlen. Weiter so!!

Safari experience

Positive : Easy to find and reach with normal car. Well equipped. Comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Excellent staff and quick arrival and departure procedures . Very clean. Coffee, sugar and water complimentary. Big table and beds for all. Lots of hot water , towels and bedding. Could charge phones ect too. Could do Meerkat experience with them. Négatif : Wifi non existant Only 1 small pan ; could have given 2 pans or larger pan. Tent very noisy if windy

Amazing!

Beautiful setting, gorgeous tent and fantastic service. Only reason it dropped a star on comfort is because of the pillows -they were a bit too soft for me. Would definitely come back again.

Sehr zu empfehlen!

Unser Zelt war sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Besonders wichtig waren die Heizdecken in den Betten (wir hatten nachts einstellige Temperaturen) und die Klimaanlage/Heizung mit Timer. Sehr empfehlenswert sind das zubuchbare Frühstück (reichte bei uns für zwei Tage) und der Grillkorb. Da AfriCamps Klein Karoo einen neuen Erdmännchen-Bau für die Meerkats Safari Ins Programm nehmen musste, sind die Tiere noch extrem scheu und man benötigt zwingend ein Fernglas oder ein Teleobjektiv - die Erdmännchen würde ich zur Zeit nicht wieder buchen. Einen Aufenthalt im Camp kann ich aber vorbehaltlos empfehlen!
