Hotel Trend NishiShinsaibashi was in the heart of Osaka, close to tourist areas like Dotonbori but also exists in its own space with a lot to offer. There are many good food spots seconds away, convenience stores, unique clothing stores and more. The room itself was simple and clean, with the necessary amenities and friendly staff. I enjoyed my time here and would stay again.

Nice staff. Safe, needed room key to use elevator. Walking distance to just about everything. Very close to Namba station and all other trains or subways. Rooms are small but good enough to for sleeping sbd clean.

Great all around. Very clean and quiet. Perfect location. Appreciated the microwave and amenities. The staff were very friendly and professional. There wasnt much room for luggage in the room, but it was perfectly manageable for our small family.

Perfect location for getting many places by foot or quickly reach various transport points. Very nice and helpful staff, cozy room and ideal for a solo traveller. And everything is close by if you need a store or laundry. Yet it is just enough away from the very crowded and loud areas. I'd pick it ahain if I were to visit Osaka

I checked in at midnight after 24 hours of travel to get there and the light by the door would not turn off. I called the front desk and was told they know about it but there is nothing that can be done and the hotel was fully booked so I could not change rooms. There was also a continuous intermittent machine-type noise every few minutes all night.

Terrible experience

I stayed for four nights. The hotel uses central air conditioning and they dont allow you to choose freely for warmth or cold. At the second and third night my room was forced to be warm. I was told with the staff other guests want warmth so they accommodate them and could not satisfy my request. They could only allow all rooms to be either warmth or cold. I had terrible sleep and slept for 3-4 hours. My room was so hot and opening the windows was too noisy for me to sleep. I remember last night I had barely three hours of sleep and I felt motion sickness and close to vomitting at USJ the other day(my first time to experience motion sickness, lack of sleep may be the problem). This ruined my day of travel. I believe hotel should make all guests stay comfortably and all guests should have the right to adjust their room tempature. It is fine to cut costs using central air conditioning but I think mentioning this at hotel.com would be more reasonable. I am afraid I have to rate this hotel badly.
