Located very closed to the JR Takatsuki station, where you can travel to both Osaka or Kyoto within 15 min. on rapid trains. Very very convenient. The natural onsen spa is also good to experience!

Perfect area right in between Osaka and Kyoto, with just one train stop between both. The staff were accommodating and provided extra pillows, as I usually sleep with more than one. There was a breakfast option even though I did not partake. The room had ample space compared to most budget spots. Would stay again

Hidden gem in Takatsuki. If I am back in Kyoto or Osaka, I will book this hotel. It is conveniently located near the station, and all trains on the line stop there. The staff are friendly and helpful, and all speak English very well which is good when you speak limited Japanese. I liked the welcome drink they provided when checking in, on-site self service laundry, and check-out snack package were all great amenenties.

The hotel is close to the station, just a few minutes away, and it is situated in the middle of Kyoto and Osaka, with only a 15-minute travel time to either city. Additionally, the hotel has a hot spring, which is a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing

One month in Takatsuki

Stayed for a month and had a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were nice, the breakfast was delicious. Recommend it for everyone going for business or pleasure. Takatsuki station is right next door so you can get to Kyoto or Osaka in less than 30 minutes.

Very dusty room. Floors do not get cleaned and sheets/towels are not washed well. Washing machine and dryer have never been cleaned in 50 years. A very dusty place, I would not recommend if you have bad allergies.

Mediocre small room with no cleaning

This is a rather inexpensive hotel but it is also not worth a cent more than the price. There was no cleaning even once during my one week stay. This is apparently a feature and you have to pay more to have room cleaning. All in all the staff were cold and it's the worst hotel i have stayed in out of the last 20 at least. Heating is through aircon so the air becomes incredibly unpleasant and dry. The one good thing is the location.
