"The hotel is very unique in design. Loved the happy hour and getting to know other guests. Breakfast every morning was a bonus. We had two issues while we were there. Our coffee machine didn’t work the first morning but was replaced. Our tv didn’t stream the hockey game so had to watch Montreal win on an iPad. Would definitely stay again!"
"Everything at the Rodd Royalty was amazing. This was my grandsons first night away from mama. Absolutely loved the pool. Also the room and the bunk beds. Staff was so helpful and wonderful. Absolutely only great words to say about this establishment. Thank you sooo much. We will be back 😊"
"This is a beautiful old-fashioned 1930's designed hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the dining room and bar are close at hand. The dining room had a pretty 'heritage' atmosphere. The meals from breakfast to dinner were delicious. The dining room staff were courteous and answered our questions
The property was well kept and the outdoor sitting areas were plentiful. An excellent spot for a morning coffee, conversations with friends or relaxing with a great book.
The pool was refreshing and according to my daughter the sauna was the main event.
One can't beat the location to explore the city. Our tour pick-up and return was at the front door. The bed was comfortable especially after a day taking in the sights outside the city.
The sofa bed was an added gem for those of us who are up later.
I felt safe on the premises and decided Charlottetown and the hotel would be an excellent place to return to by myself. I need to explore more there and its a short flight from home."
"When we arrived, the room had been closed for the winter season and after check-in, we found the room to smell very musty, and the fabric of the bed linen smelled like old closet. I requested clean bed linen from the only staff at the desk who was very courteous, but also swamped and she was able to bring me new bedding that we changed ourselves because there was no cleaning staff at that time. we spent the night and had left bananas an apple and some lemon drops on the counter and woke up to a full ant infestation. We did not want to leave our things in the room and had to leave for the day so we put them in our vehicle. We also did not want to sleep in a room right after it had been sprayed so they were able to switch our room but immediately checked someone else into that room without telling them it had just been sprayed. I appreciate the effort to save money on a business, but I think more staff to clean, maintain the property and provide customer services definitely in order"
"This B&B was right out of a fairy tale. Our king suite was beautifully decorated with lovely antiques, a king size bed and a jacuzzi. Every little detail was attended to. Every appointment no matter how tiny was perfect. It was located across from the harbor and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay at this inn again and again."
"Very enjoyable stay. Comfortable beds, spacious room, nice shower. Breakfast was very nice. The massage chair was a nice perk. Only downside, was that it was a bit of a walk to any restaurants."
