Sacred Heart Church

9.0/10 (28 reviews)
Situated at the heart of Omagh in County Tyrone, Sacred Heart Church is an unsurpassed example of late Victorian architecture, as well as a testament to the strength of human determination. Perched on the edge of the Strule River, Sacred Heart is a charming building, perhaps more so for the effort that went into constructing it.

Omagh Golf Club

A compact golf course set in picturesque parkland, Omagh Golf Club began life as a nine-hole course in 1910. For many years it remained a humble course, but after its extension to 18 holes in 1983, it fast became one of the most renowned courses in County Tyrone. The incorporation of a new drainage system in 2000 means the course now remains open almost all year round.

10/10 Excellent
"Arrived early at hotel via taxi and did not see parking other than onstreet so cant comment further there. Got an early check in. This was great for me personally as I was very tired. Room was clean and tidy and location is excellent beside the walls and near all the bars and places to eat (Walled city Slice is unreal pizza)and about 10/15mins from shopping centers slow walking. Please beware as it is near the main bar areas it can be busy/noisy at weekends outside due to location but it did not bother me personally. No noise in room. Desk staff were friendly and I would absolutely stay here again. Hotel suited my needs perfectly for one night. A pint in bar was £6.90 for a Peroni. Did not try breakfast/food as i had other arrangements. Hope this helps. Recommended if you want to be close to the nightlife/walls/shopping."
