"I had very low expectations when I book this hotel. I only wanted a beach front hotel! Voi Tanka is much more than that! "Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Positives were that the hotel overall is lovely with lots of space, bedrooms are very big with large beds. Good choice of food and the reception staff were great. "Amazing beaches and water, lovely staff and incredible food (half-board highly recommended). Excellent and different a la carte choices offered every night. 2 bugbears which prevented me giving 5 stars- 1) It is usual for a top hotel to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water each night. SM does have the water in the minibar, but they charge for it, which is a little annoying. 2) They have a private, lovely beach. However they charge 50 euros per day for the use of their beach sunloungers, which we were unaware of beforehand. For a hotel of this type, we would not expect to pay for this (and certainly not so much). However, overall, we had a fantastic stay - loved being able to rent e-bikes so we could explore the area."
