"The reception staff couldn’t be more helpful. We drove to San Sebastián- they parked the car for us! They armed us with lots of information about the city! The hotel is in a great position by the port and with easy walking around the city."

"Loved staying here as it was so close to old town/ city part and the beaches.Our room ( which we booked) was a terrace room which had a big space to sit outside. Didnt bother us but the terrace does look into the back of appartments. To illuminate that it would be best to book a room that has a balcony looking out to the road.I must mention the receptionist Agustina who was absolutely so helpful and welcoming. Gave me a list of restaurants/pintxos and places to visit.We liked the system of a code to enter building and room. No worrying about a key. The room was lovely and clean."

"Do you remember what that website where you rent rooms in people's houses used to be like? A friendly stranger would open their home to you, show you to a room, talk your ear off, and cook you breakfast in the morning? Oh sure, there were quirks--maybe the room windows happened to sit above two bars and a nightclub, and maybe only way to dry your clothes was on a single line tied to a dead plant, and maybe you had to share your bathroom with the rest of the family, but the place had CHARACTER. And you didn't have to pay $800 so YOU could clean the room afterward. That's what you get with Pension Anne. Your hostess is the abuela you never had, telling you stories and jokes and cooking amazing food for you (just as good as what you'll buy in shops on the streets below). She'll even do a bag of laundry for you, no charge! You're in the heart of Old Town, so it will be noisy at night if your windows are open (and too hot if they're closed, although you do have a ceiling fan), but what did you expect? You walk out the front door and you're in the middle of the action. Ten minutes to the beach, about ten seconds to the nearest restaurant. Perfect for being able to go out, roam, and pop back in to refresh before your next venture. A great experience if you want to see what living in the heart of San Sebastian/Donostia really feels like and you don't mind a little chaos. If you want quiet solitude, go get a hotel elsewhere."

"First impressions on arrival were 'Wow this place is very nice' The staff were immediately helpful and spoke excellent English. Our room was spotlessly clean and looks like it's been refurbished recently. The bed firm but comfortable. I didn't watch the TV but a large one is there if you need it. The bathroom is quality, the shower absolutely the best. A proper rain shower, I liked very much. Breakfast was superb, great coffee and everything you could want to eat or drink is there for you to take as much as you like. The location is about 50 metres from the sea front where there is a large beach and lovely easy to swim in section of Atlantic coast. All in all this has been one of the best experiences for holidaying. I hope to return."

"This was a great place to stay for our couple of days exploring San Sebastian. Its just outside the centre but a lovely walk through a pretty park into the centre. We had a basic room which had everything we needed and a lovely bathroom. kettle etc. Pool was really lovely and we also has a really nice lunch in the restaurant. Would go back."

"El personal en general muy atento. Solo tuvimos inconvenientes al momento del desayuno , no atendían , estaban sobrepasados y hasta me hablaron de mala gana cuando pedí agua caliente por q la dispuesta no lo estaba. Y me hicieron esperar 20 minutos. Luego todo el resto excepcional."
