The hotel isn't in an area where there weren't any undesirable folks hanging around si it felt very safe to walk around at night."

The room was clean but could stand a bit of updating. Furniture is a bit beat up. Beds were not made to Marriott standards, even if it is a Courtyard. For downtown Norfolk, I expect a bit more."
