"This hotel manager and receptionist not kindness. They are only focus on money, not safety. I want to leave hotel early because of Debby hurricane and they don’t give permission. They don’t give me any receipt about early leave. They want to stay at hotel in hurricane and unsafe with my 3 children."
"The dishes were dirty when we arrived from previous guests. The dishwasher did not work well during our stay and after running it 3 times the dishes were still dirty. The tub was clogged and backing up anytime we took a shower. The location was great and the view. "

The Carriage House Inn Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely, updated home, perfectly located and steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, and beach access. John, Amy, and Whiskey were perfect hosts, offering happy hour drinks and a charcuterie board after we arrived. The room was beautifully appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
"We enjoyed meeting the nicest and most pleasant hotel staff we’ve encountered in many hotel stays. We were greeted with a smile and friendly banter upon check-in, were helped with small items we had forgotten at home, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, and were sent on our way with a smile and wishes for safe travel. Five Stars for the staff at Hampton Inn Southport!!"
"Every staff member was over the top friendly and helpful. Especially the desk clerk and the lady restocking the breakfast items. The breakfast choices were excellent and delicious. Our granddaughters loved the pool and running the elevator. Lol"
