The hotel was exactly what I needed for a solo, relaxing trip on Christmas Day. It was clean and gave luxury but affordable vibes. The staff was very nice and accommodating as well. I give it a 10/10.

The renovation on this hotel is awesome. The rooms are spacious and the vibe is beachy chic. Beach access is steps away and there are plenty of spots to enjoy the view.

Lovely updated boutique beachfront hotel. We enjoyed the nice amenities, fluffy towels and well done room decor. It’s off season so the staff was not as available but we had a great time. Can’t wait to use the new pool too. Thanks again. We look forward to returning.

This is a wonderful place!! We stayed 4 nights. It was so clean, bed was very comfortable, friendly staff and a nice pool. I have to say the manager was so friendly and she was working so hard right along with her staff. Will definitely stay here again

A uniquely remodeled hotel just steps away from the beach! Our double queen deluxe room was very comfortable and clean. Absolutely love the remodel choices and decor! Pool is nice too! Highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel and I highly recommend it! There is no elevator so that may be a drawback to some but not for us. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. Who doesn’t love Pottery Barn towels! Staff is friendly and the location is unbeatable. If you’re looking for a unique amazing stay in Carolina Beach, be sure to stay at the Oceaneer.

We loved our stay here. The renovation back to Mid-Century Modern vibe and decor is excellent. Nice size refrigerator, good quality linens, and Keurig coffee maker among in-room amenities. Staff is responsive and professional. Can't wait to go back!

Looked like it had just had a remodeling. Beautiful rooms. Very clean. Great pool and beach area. Only downside is there isn’t an elevator. But amenities and decor were great!

A pleasant family-type hotel; reasonably priced and right on the beach. The rooms appear to have been renovated recently and far nicer than what you typically get in hotels of this type. There is no elevator and access to rooms is external. So you will need to request a room on the first floor if access is an issue.

Sweet little boutique hotel recently renovated with lots of high-end touches, pool, and direct beach access. No breakfast available, but a killer barista-quality coffee maker in the lobby when the lobby is open. Would suggest that maybe the coffee machine be put in a card access area for early risers seeking caffeine!! Outside of that...no complaints, and would highly recommend this lovely hotel!

The facility recently opened after an extensive renovation. Excellent in every way! I’ve never stayed directly on oceanfront and I’ll never do otherwise. The price was great! Very nice staff. Very impressed. Great location in a quieter area. No problems to drive and park for dinner. No parking fees charged after 8 pm.

I loved the retro yet updated vibe of this newly renovated hotel. Classic, upscale elements - no kitsch. I stayed in a beautiful king room that had the shortest walk I have ever had to the beach - even for a beach front property. The pool has been refurbished and is amazingly clean. The pool area has white lounge chairs and blue and white beach towels are provided. It's a small hotel but I totally enjoyed not struggling to find a parking space or waiting for the elevator. This place screams boutique (fitness area and coffee bar in the lobby) and I will definitely be coming back to the Oceaneer!

Our stay at the Oceaneer was fantastic. We only came for one night but it was so convenient and close to the beach. We have a car and the parking was easy, but it is a little farther from the boardwalk/shops and such where you have to pay for parking so I would recommend staying closer to the boardwalk if you want to avoid paying for parking everywhere. They do have bikes at the front but it was wayyyy too hot for that. Beautiful, clean, perfectly renovated hotel. The pool is so relaxing and lots of chairs to lay out. I will be coming back here next time!!

Loved all the the new updates to the hotel. Very chic, beautiful and comfortable rooms. The location was great and the access to the beach and pool was amazing. Just a couple of notes that would have made our stay excellent: We got back one night around 11pm and there was no parking for us. The front office was locked and noone was working. There were 3 cars that did not have a visible parking pass. With it being advertised as parking is included, they should ensure there are enough spots for their customers. Other than that, we also never had room service come by our room during our stay. But everything else was great!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, has been completely remodeled. Beds, sheets and pillows are soft. The showers are nice size, plenty of drawer space, hangers provided. No microwave though. Great smelling and full size shampoo, conditioner and soap provided. They have quiet time from 10p-7a, everyone respects it. Walk straight on to the beach. The pool is amazing, salt water filter, they clean the pool daily. The staff is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Only 2 cons to the hotel. 1st no elevator for the top floors but that wouldnt keep me from staying again. We actually booked for next yr already. 2nd is the pool closes at 8pm. If you are on the beach, shopping or fishing, most likely you dont get a chance to enjoy the pool. But not a deal breaker for us.
