"This was supposed to be a 5* villa! When you are spending thousands for a weeks stay you expect close to perfection not a shower that floods, toilets that clog daily, towels with holes in them or items not being refilled or replenished. Then to top it all off a call at 9am on the last morning by housekeeping despite requesting a late checkout! Also I have never come across an IHG hotel that does not accept Amex cards. In addition each morning from 9am there was building work noise which woke up some of the guests, I complained and it stopped but why did it happen in the first place. The pool area is very definitely not 5* standard nor is the landscaping surrounding the villas. On the plus side hotel staff were very helpful. Will try the Sheraton down the road next trip "
