"Original room provided was below expectations but we were then moved to an acceptable room. Very disappointed that for a four night stay a bottle of water was only provided on first day! For the amount we were paying it isn't much to expect. "

"Location close to main train station and Chapel Bridge in Luzern. Very efficient check in as they send you link to pre-register day prior. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Lounge with still/soarkling water to refill bottles. Husband enjoyed delicious breakfast buffet in AM that was responably priced. And room stocked with coffee, tea, soda, beer, and orange juice all complimentary."

"Excellent service, a beautiful old building and a great location. The room was clean and quiet, even on the lake view side, which is on a busy street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a 25 minute walk along the beautiful lake path or a short bus ride from the center. Breakfast was fresh and very nice, especially the special poached egg dish. One suggestion I would make is better lighting in the rooms. There is a ceiling chandelier but bright, jarring bare bulb fixtures by each bed. Those need a lampshade or something more directional. There was also no lights near the bathroom mirrors so shaving and makeup, etc. are difficult. Also the bathroom had a window with only a sheer curtain so for privacy you have to pull down the exterior metal shade, which blocks natural light into the room. If the lighting conditions don’t bother you, this is a great place. Would stay again."

While it possesses a favorable location, the quality of the food at 3 of the 4 restaurants has been unsatisfactory, the pricing is excessively high, and the service standards are significantly below average. The hotel itself has not been properly maintained and appears to be deteriorating."
