"눈이 많이 오던 날 임용고시 시험을 앞두고 이 호텔에 숙박하게 되었습니다. 폭설로 인해 택시가 안 잡혀 발동동 구르고 있었는데 호텔에서 직접 시험장까지 차량으로 데려다주셔서 큰 도움을 받았습니다. 감사해요 🥹❤️ 수험생 입장에서 정말 너무너무 감사한 마음이 컸습니다 🚗❄️ 직원분들 모두 정말 친절하게 응대해 주셨고, 시험을 앞두고 있다는 점을 이해해 주셔서 정말 짱이었어요. 과하지 않으면서도 필요한 부분을 세심하게 챙겨 주셔서 편안하게 머물 수 있었습니다 🙂 객실은 깔끔하고 조용해 시험 전날 휴식하기에 좋았고, 침구와 난방 상태도 만족스러웠습니다. 주변에 스터디 카페 갈까 싶었는데 방 안에 책상이 있어서 방안에서도 공부할 수 있었어요! 전체적으로 시설 관리가 잘 되어 있어 불편함 없이 이용할 수 있었습니다. 중요한 날에 실질적인 도움을 받을 수 있었던 호텔이라 더 기억에 남습니다. 친절한 서비스와 안정적인 시설을 갖춘 곳으로, 상황에 맞는 배려가 인상 깊었던...

"The front desk staff were not readily visible, as they kept their heads down behind the counter, which made it difficult to know whether anyone was available to assist. When we arrived at 3:00 PM to check in, we were informed, rather abruptly, that check-in was at 4:00 PM and asked to return later. Additionally, the room was smaller and of lower quality than what was represented in the photos. It was not particularly clean, and overall, the experience did not feel commensurate with the price."

"This was a really great place to stay for the four nights in Mokpo. In fact, we really wish we could have stayed longer; we didn't know it was so good. We got the top floor, so we had a view of the sea and the mountains, which was really beautiful. The air conditioning worked well, though it wasn't very hot whilst we stayed there. The TV was huge and the bed was very comfortable (we like firm beds, so it was a really nice firm bed). What we also liked was the fact that you could get really tasty iced coffee and ice down below. The breakfast you got every morning was really good too: it was like a great Korean sandwich, really thick, tasty, and delicious, plus a pop-top drink which was really sustaining for the day. There was also an endless supply of cold bottles water in the fridge down below. The cleaners were so good; they cleaned the room really well. There were lots of amenities in the bathroom, like a shaver and a toothbrush, and it was very quiet at night (I didn't hear any noise at all). The building has two lifts that are very fast and handy. Across the road is a Lotte Mart MAXX, which is good for snacks and ice creams, and nearby in the vicinity are hundreds of authentic Korean seafood and Kalbi restaurants with really great Korean food. We really loved our stay there and would like to come back one day if we could. The place is fairly central in terms of walking distance to things like E-Mart and other tourist spots. Use taxis though, they are very cheap."

"We found this hotel after missing our ferry and we are so glad we ended up spending the day here! The staff was incredible in accommodating us last minute. The town is a nice area to walk around and the locals are very friendly. There was a CU store in the lobby for spur of the moment cravings and they had a very affordable lunch buffet. Next time we will plan more time in Mokpo hopefully."

"We did enjoy the Sangria Hotel somewhat, the room was a little small for 4 adults, room was clean, the bathroom was adequate, we asked for towels on our second day, we didn’t require the beds to be refreshed, the towels that were delivered were obviously washed but the towels did not smell fresh, our room AC was not adjusting to our thermostat. When calling the front desk to ask for assistance we were told someone was working on it yet nothing changed. Eventually the room cooled down when we opened the window, enough for us to be comfortable. On our second day when returning to the hotel after a day of sightseeing we found that we couldn’t park in the Hotel parking lot, the lot was closed for construction. There was an alternate parking lot that the hotel said we could use across the street from the hotel. We did eat breakfast in the Hotel Lobby, convenient but service was a bit off, our orders were fine, we did receive our coffee with our meal, we are used to sipping coffee and talking together before and during our meals, apparently not at this location, no coffee to begin and no refills were offered. No effort made other than order food, receive food, eat, pay and leave. The lobby restrooms and decor seem upscale and clean, staff appeared to be a bit cold. Checkout was uneventful, the Hotel is located directly across from a beach walk with entertainment and local vendors with a lot of food and games. A lot of restaurants are within walking distance from the Hotel."
