Top Oddington Hotel Reviews

Whately Hall

8/10 Good

"Well presented hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. My only negative was how far away from reception my room was as when I got back to room to find no milk to have a hot drink before bed and didn’t fancy the long walk back to reception"

Macdonald Bear Hotel

8/10 Good

"Hotel is excellent in anytime location and clean and well presented. The room was well appointed and difficult to fault. However the bar was disappointing with limited choice of draft beers (only two lagers) and no atmosphere. The breakfast was extremely poor and prompted us to cancel our evening meal due to the quality of cooking. Bacon like leather, mushroom shrivelled and dry, poached eggs hard each day and waited too long for the breakfast. Improve the food and we would return as the hotel is lovely."

Walton Hall Hotel & Spa by Sunday

8/10 Good

"We had a superior room in the Manor House. It was really big, comfortable and clean with excellent countryside views. Site has plenty of free parking. Breakfast both mornings was good. And evening meals were tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Spa was great. Only negative was the bar closed at 10.15pm on Saturday night - the young lady did give us a last orders warning, but it's not what you expect."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford

8/10 Good

"Overall it was good - friendly staff, a little pool and gym, and it was indeed clean. I was a bit disappointed to find the bathroom had white gaffer tape covering extensive rust on the edge of the bath though. I did expect that to be better, its not nice to have gaffer tape and rust in the bath. But the beds were very comfy, the rooms well cleaned. just a tired bathroom. We walked into Oxford down the canal which was lovely."

The Swans Nest Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is a beautiful hotel and in a great place as it's not in the noisy centre but only a 5 minute walk to the centre. Unfortunately when we stayed there there was a power cut in the early hours, not the hotels fault, this meant that we had to be moved to a different hotel. The staff did everything they could but we were put in a town centre hotel that, all though a beautiful place, was not to our liking. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if in the area and I have recommended to friends di"
