Hotels near Oconee National Forest

"Where to start. No pool - wasn't aware. No secured WiFi. No elevator. Dogs all night long. Trains all night long. Lounge/rest. Closed - wasn't aware. Had no idea of the $50 gift card as wasn't asked at check in if members and offered it, went the next morning n was told too late since we checked in the night before. Hotel is a mess but the staff was nice "

"THE LOBBY AREA AND PARKING WERE CLEAN, THE STAFF NOT TOO FRIENDLY, ONLY 3 TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM THE WERE STAINED AND THEN THE NEXT DAY THEY TOOK THE TOWELS BUT DIDNT CLEAN THE ROOM WHICH WAS KIND OF CONFUSING AND WHEN MY DAUGHTER WENT TO ASK FOR MORE TOWELS FIRST WAS TOLD NO THEN SHE WALKED TO THE LAUNDRY AREA AND ASK SOMEONE FOR TOWELS AND THE PERSON TOLD HER WE HAVE TO WAIT 10-15 AND SOMEONE WILL TAKE IT TO THE ROOM. NOT SURE IF ITS ALWAYS LIKE THAT BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF PEOPLE AT NIGHT IN THE PARKING LOT, A LOT OF NOISE AND TALKING AND DOG BARKING LATE AT NIGHT IN THE HALLWAY. THE WINDOW COUTAINS HAVE SOME STAINS CLOSE TO THE CEALING THAT LOOKS LIKE WATER DAMAGE OR EVEN MOLD. I WANTED THIS STAY TO BE A GOOD ONE SINCE THE PICTURES LOOK LIKE A NICE PLACE AND THEY WERE PET FRIENDLY WHICH WE TRAVEL WITH OUR DOG BUT WAS NOT AS I EXPECTED. I HATE LEAVING BAD REVIEWS BUT I DONT LIKE TO LIE EITHER. HOPEFULLY THEY DO SOME IMPROVEMENTS AND DEEP CLEANING IN THE ROOMS."

"Old worn out facility. Dust and dirt in the room. TV did not work (but the staff did come by and fix it. When one guy could not fix it, he brought a co-worker, who fixed it. They were really good guys.) really noisy outside. "

"Really nice, very clean rooms, property was very clean and looked new. Room was exceptional - great size with private area, desk and sofa with a nice separator. Nice large screen tv that swiveled. Only thing I didn't like was the poor lighting in the shower where the vanity was, very low light - could not use to put on makeup that's for sure. The outside of the property was very clean, no trash, lots of places to part with very good lighting, felt very safe at the property. Nice touch with the indoor pool too, but we didn't have time to use it. Also lots of ways to charge phone, laptops etc. "

"Wish we had known the pool was empty - we would’ve booked somewhere else. However, the staff was amazing, facilities were clean and we had everything we needed! Overall, good stay."
