"This property was amazing and homely. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. Very family friendly. The grounds were nice and clean. There were ample fire pits to sit in front of and get warm. The rental office had plenty of board games and videos. The house was fully equipped with cooking and some cleaning supplies. There was an on-site bar and grill, coffee/pastry stand, and market. There was also a play ground for the little ones. I plan on booking a stay there in the future."

"Pros: -parking where cameras and front desk can see vehicles -price -staff was excellent, above and beyond - close enough to walk to shops, food and beach -clean pool and hot tub Cons -Could have been cleaner, wasn’t extremely dirty but most definitely needed to be cleaned more - shower was only able to be used because tub drain pull was broken -no screens on windows -frame of heating/cooling unit falling off "

"My husband and I stayed here last night and it was the worst experience ever!!! We got in very late, came in and fell asleep. When I woke I discovered mold all over the bathroom, dried blood splatters on the bed my husband and I slept in. Along with pink sticky stains! This is absolutely unacceptable. "We absolutely love the Shilo Inn and where it’s located. However whomever is owner/manager needs to update the rooms and building over all. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Security doors not working. Restaurant not being open. Update update update it please to make it worth the money we are charged. "
