"The rooms were spacious and clean and the grounds were beautiful. Plenty of parking and an easy drive to Obidos. Luckily we were there on a cool night so the lack of air conditioning was okay but a fan would be nice to keep the air moving. Breakfast was lack luster and the bed pillows could use updating. However, it was a really cute space to stay with a family for a few days"

a must see in Portugal. It gives Sintra a run for its money. You can see it all easily in one day. Be careful on the battlements mind. Amazing views. Lots of culture and friendly people. Try not to take in too much Ginja.

Obidos old town is amazing, but rest of the area does not have much about it. Need a car to head up to Nazaré or down to Ericeira which has much more going on. Golf and no more
