After a morning there, we walked into old Fussen and enjoyed a walk by the river and enjoyed an amazing venison goulash at a local, 400 year old restaurant. We were on the first floor, right alongside the main road. It was a bit noisy due to the traffic. It might be better on a higher floor. The breakfast and dinner there were good "

"Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"

"Beautiful property at a foothill of the famous Neuschwanstein castle. The room was on the small size but clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, good quality and the view of the castle right from the window is a surplus. Stay here if you can afford it. If you drive, prepare extra 14 euros for an overnight parking. "
