"Furniture is old and badly scratched, pillows are stained, sheets are old, bed was very uncomfortable. Hotel needs major refurbishment asap."

"Well, getting to your room is limited to two slow moving elevators or stairs, parking was never a problem except they charge folks who are staying there $13 a night. The lot is controlled by a gate that I could never get to work right. The room itself while to fancy was clean but could have used an additional blanket instead of having the heater going. I didn't get any maid service after the first night (I stayed two) but I don't make a mess and didn't need it. Nothing to do there, its a here I am and there I go type place."

"I arrived late and left early for a morning flight, so I barely got to experience the hotel. But the room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. What really stood out was the staff. Since I had to leave before breakfast started, they handed me a breakfast bag and let me grab a free cup of tea without hesitation. The shuttle driver was just as wonderful, courteous and full of energy at an ungodly hour, helped with my heavy luggage and pointed me in the right direction. Small gestures, big impression. "The front desk staff were very kind and informative with information about shuttles, nearby restaurants, etc. Pro: there is a free shuttle from the airport and back. Unfortunately, although somewhat clean, it was outdated, and our room had a huge gap around the door frame so big you could actually see the hallway outside. I did not mention it to staff since it was a 1 night stay for a cruise, but I felt extremely uncomfortable. The "continental breakfast" was the worst I've seen. Cereal, oatmeal packages to prepare, oranges, small mini muffins, and coffee. We walked to the nearby Denny's. We will not be staying here again, although the staff were very kind. "

"The grounds were beautifully kept up. The round "reading" gazebos were wonderful. As were the hanging chairs. The lodge we stayed in was also neat and tidy. However the TV/Cable didnt want to work after 9:30pm. Also after taking a shower there was quite a bit of water on the floor. It took a long time for the water to go down the drain."
