I came here as a solo woman & this is such a beautiful hotel, I can't believe it is only 3 stars on here. All the staff were wonderful, attentive, & friendly. Great location with nice little balconies (at least my unit had one), on a main road so expect noise during the day & relative quiet at night. Clean & has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay in Oaxaca <3
Our stay here was amazing! The staff were super friendly and thoughtful. We enjoyed the convenience of having breakfast every morning in the garden and spending our nights on the swing under the stars. Definitely a great place to stay while visiting Oaxaca.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very nice inside. Breakfast here is delicious and reasonably priced. The location is convenient within ready walking distance of many of the most interesting neighborhoods. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The on site restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helped us book tours and taxis. Very clean rooms, well maintained property. A bit noisy at night because all rooms face the lovely courtyard and there were fireworks going off at times. Overall, great experience. Would stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Property was clean and staff extremely helpful. The rating is due to the property being really old and the area where it's located is not the nicest.
Both Fernanda and Cezar at the front dest were pleasant, professional, and helpful. The hotel was inexpensive, great bed, clean, cute. Relatively easy walk to zona central. Be realistic and you will be happy.
This cute, economical, eco-friendly hotel was a gem. While not in the immediate centro, it was exactly what I needed. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and welcome in this hotel which offered a safe please to rest and shower. I did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, so I was not looking for a resort experience. The cleanliness and hospitality was on point. I will definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Very friendly staff. I misunderstood the check out time and was out in town after 12:00pm. A front desk staff named Fernanda was kind enough to inform me of my misunderstanding and forgave my extra late check out with kindness and grace. The hotel restaurant was also on point.
The staff were excellent - really helpful and friendly. The property was well kept - clean and nicely maintained. The room was spacious. The road the hotel fronts on to is busy during the day, so it was could be noisy, but it was quiet at night and not a problem to sleep. Overall, we had a great stay!
Very nice property, kind people working there, beautiful garden, home-cooked food in the small restaurant, parking if you need one.
The hotel is easy 10 minutes walk to the main plaza. Very quiet, still in the city center.
The only recommendation would be a mirror in the room and some hooks in the bathroom.
Very happy with our choice!
Hotel Danibaan was very nice and clean. It was basic and comfortable - we did not have AC in our room.
It is ideal if you have a car, as I did, since it provides free and easy secure parking.
However, it is not walkable to Oaxaca Centro as indicated in the listing which is why I did not give 5 stars. There are also not many dining options in the area and no coffee and tea in common areas as indicated on the listing. There were also no spa services as indicated on the listing.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Danibaan motel. The staff is exceptional, both helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and large. The shower was always hot though we tried to conserve water since Oaxaca is in a dry area. It is an easy walk of about 10 minutes to the city center. The rooms have a/c but we never used it. The main negative point is that the motel is noisy. There were neighborhood dogs barking at night as well as noisy traffic on the road. I think this is a common condition in Oaxaca though. If you are a light sleeper earplugs are recommended.
Personal are really nice!!
Hotel needs a lot of updates.
Pillow cases are in really bad shape, really old, with holes. You want to come and rest in a nice pillow.
They give you water. We appreciate with the heat.
