I didn’t expect to be this impressed—especially since that same month I had already stayed in three different hotels across three countries: Port Harcourt (Nigeria), Doha (Qatar), and Singapore. Each of those was nice in its own way, but Kempinski outshone them all by a long mile. The staff alone set the tone—responsive, genuinely joyful in the way they attended to every request. From my room, the pool view was incredible, and the complimentary sauna and steam bath made the experience feel even more indulgent. What really sealed it was the personal touch. I had mentioned it was my wife’s birthday, and we returned to find the room beautifully decorated, a whole cake waiting, and a bottle of champagne on ice with two glasses. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. Even down to the little details—like Ferragamo body lotion, shampoo, and body wash—it felt like luxury in places I didn’t expect. Kempinski didn’t just meet expectations; it set a new bar. I’ll definitely be returning to Ghana, and when I do, Kempinski will be my first stop"
