"Amazing beach views. Rock Beach is just across the hotel. So, excellent location with really good food in the vicinity. Gorgeous waves. Room is comfortable. Love sitting at the balcony. Staff is awesome and helpful. If I could just suggest one thing, it would be to get new towels and rid of the ones with old / rust dotted stains which may not go well with other patrons."

The breakfast made a fantastic start to their day to explore the city.The tea cakes/dessert were really delicious.Thank you for making their trip so relaxing and comforting."

"The hotel itself is decently maintained mostly.. We were greeted with a welcome drink during check in, that was nice! The room was spacious. Housekeeping was mostly on point. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of variety. The pool area was a bit underwhelming though. The reception staff was very cordial and helpful throughout the stay! Some minor things that could be improved - 1. There was only 1 towel and 1 glass of water when we checked in. Considering that the hotel knows that there are 2 guests checking in, this was a bit off putting. But room service promptly brought the other towel and glass when we called. 2. We were given only one key card, considering that there are 2 guests - again this was a bit weird to us. They said that they don't have a second key card for the room. So it was a bit of a hassle for us to share the one."

"A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean. "

"A beautiful character building with a lot of charm. Choosing a balcony suite at the front is totally worth it. The hotel staff were neither friendly nor rude but just came across as indifferent but not what I’m used to when dealing with hospitality employees. But then mostly everyone I interacted in Pondicherry seemed like that so it must be a regional thing. There was no daily housekeeping which also seemed odd. Despite these things, I would stay here again solely for the charm of the building and convenient location. Just two short blocks to the ocean."
