"This beautiful old building is such a lovely place to stay in York. The staff can’t do enough for you and the bedrooms are well equipped and very comfortable. The location for the Train station is perfect and It’s just a short walk into the city. Would highly recommend. "

"The internet was good, our room was very spacious & well equipped with beverages. The surrounding area was very quiet at night and it was within a short walking distance of tge city centre. The bar had a nice ambience & well trained staff."

"Clean room, central location. Parking was very expensive we were told to park around the corner then they said they can't validate parking anymore. Breakfast was poor, cold, tasteless. Not worth it. "

"Lovely hotel and the staff were lovely. Our Room was nice, but sadly the bathroom was terrible. If you went for a shower the bath would fill with water because the plug was stuck closed and the door handle to the bathroom was falling off. "
