"Everything was perfect"

"Good place to get a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed without breaking the bank. Breakfast was good, with the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had in ages."

"The Paramount is right in the heart of downtown Portland. Within a block is shopping from Nordstrom, Pendleton, and Columbia as well as other designer labels. On both sides of the hotel’s (North and South) are parks. One is full of trees and lighting, the other a community space meant to connect others. Two blocks away is the pioneer square with transit to almost anywhere in town, local food trucks, and historic buildings. The Paramount has two restaurants on site, the Tavern serves up a mix of new American cuisine at affordable prices, and Swine delicious cocktails and small bites. Both can be charged to your room to come out of the deposit required ($75 per night) and the $10 daily credit. There’s coffee available outside in the lobby, and vending on multiple floors too. Their property is 15 stories high, yet the elevator is lightning fast. Within 20 seconds I was to my room, and ready to enter. Also, they take security seriously. Room keys required to use the elevator, and in the evening. The room was standard, had decently made furniture, a comfy king bed with many pillows, and came stock with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and hand soap. Lots of different lighting options in the room, means you can adjust to comfort. The blackout curtains darkened the room so sleep was easy. The only true downside to the hotel, is that there were no microwaves in room or traditional room service. Otherwise, it was a great stay in the heart of downtown. "

"Great location, staff, amenities, rooms are clean and modern, nearby shops are a treat. Best spot in Portland for affordable, clean fun. "

"Property is great. Expect a 60 charge to park your car and nothing your kids will want to eat for breakfast. Hotel is pretty and perfect on the other means"

"STAY AWAY, NOT RECOMMENDED. Please be careful with this place if you happen to have any delays I’m checking in. They will literally cancel your reservation if you arrive a bit late. Even if you say forget the reservation, I would like to book another room. There was say no it’s too late. We can’t rent out rooms after hours. They are so f…. Up. Specially a guy NAME SIMON, he thinks his the boss. He would not try to give you a room even if in the website shows that there is more rooms available. He would say no there’s not and not even try to help you. STAY AWAY "

"The Hotel got an issue probably fire or so, huge part of the building was smelling terrible and a lot toxic air inside de hall, and rooms! My room was affected, I was out for work and nobody notified me at all, I realized that significant part of the hotel was closed and "all" people were relocated in a different rooms until the next day morning when i ask about the internet and complain about the terrible smell!! On top of that, Teresa which is the front desk manager scolded me for not being at the front desk asking what happened the night before, I spent the entire night smelling this toxic air, nobody even message me even when they realized my belongings still at my room which allegedly they went to see if someone was there! Not even an apology I received from anyone in that hotel. Terrible customer service!!"
