"Staff was (five star) excellent! Very friendly and attentive to any of our needs. Facility is very clean and perfect for budget friendly family visits to SLC. Hot breakfast was tasty with a good selection: cereal, yogert, sausage, breads, eggs(immitation, but not bad). Walking distance to convention center, mall, Temple Square. Surrounding area is a bit rough, but walkable. Great hotel for families."

"We had some good expectations staying at the Waldorf, but what we didn’t see coming was for all of them to be exceeded. The staff from Dallin at the concierge desk to Dullia in the powder restaurant and the front desk staff being very accommodating… even the valet and car service! We had a fantastic getaway weekend. We even ate at one of the finest restaurants on Main Street, which did not beat our fine dining experience at the powder restaurant located in the Waldorf. We highly recommend staying here and dining at the powder breakfast lunch and dinner. Looking forward to returning soon. "
