"The hotel is beautiful and is right on the beach. Parking is safe and plentiful and free. The pool and live music ends promptly at 10 pm for a quiet night’s sleep. It reopens at 8 am. There is direct beach access with stairs. The ATM did not work and tips are entirely in cash. You must pay $20/each cash for the breakfast buffet although for regular meals you can charge them to a credit card. That made me run out of cash a lot faster than anticipated. Bring lots of $5’s and $10’s. The staff is super nice but be ready with your Spanish as there are many that are limited on their English. My cell phone data would NOT work without their (free) WIFI despite getting a “global pass.” So be prepared for that. I screenshot a lot and that saved me because I had the hotel phone number (luckily calls could be made). FYI if you “get directions” on WIFI it will continue to work even off their network. If you’re driving…there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT DESERT between the border and town. The town seems to come out of nowhere. There were plenty of other Americans Making the trip. We felt safe the ENTIRE time."

"The hotel was very clean and super nice. Staff was helpful and had great customer service. My only complaint was that we could not check in early (check in time was 4pm), the earliest we could check in was 3. Other than that it was a great stay. Would stay here again."
