Cactus Petes Resort Casino & Horseshu Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A great stopping point from California to Idaho. This hotel offers super comfortable beds, two restaurants, one expensive and the other reasonably priced with good food. The rooms are inexpensive and well worth staying here."
Holiday Motel
8/10 Good
"Everything was fine. Could use some more insulation in the ceiling to not hear footsteps from upstairs"
Elkotel - The Newest Hotel in Elko
8/10 Good
"Great property, recently remodeled. Very clean. I’d stay again. I’m being super nitpicky, the two criticism I have are 1) you can see where they tried to save money or cut corners, like my room’s bathroom had a couple unfinished spots and scrapes on the walls. And the bathtub felt older despite the whole shower being redone. Also the doors to the rooms look open even when fully shut, not sure what that’s about. 2) bed isn’t the comfiest but it’s not the worst I’ve slept in, and at least it was clean. And 2.5) I wish the room had a full body mirror. On another note, expect walls to be thin and hear everything, not sure if it was just the weekend I stayed/the other guests but I woke up one day to several doors on my floor being slammed at 7am. Overall had a great stay. I reiterate I would stay here again. I hope to see this property succeed."
Winnemucca Inn & Casino
8/10 Good
"it was quiet on Labor day weekend. My room was on second floor away from Casino facing back.Large clean room good shower. No odd smells clean linens.I dont smoke but smoking allowed in casino. But not to noticeable.Restaurant pretty good.Decent salad bar if you fresh option.Outdoor hot tub pretty clean not much clorine smell.Parking felt safe. This is a working class property and lots of people travelling for blue collar jobs.So not a bunch of drunks wandering around."
Shutters Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable clean room in a nicely maintained and attractive facility. Breakfast was very good with hot food served by staff. Orange juice was freshly squeezed and delicious. Recommend adding shower gel to amenities. Recommend."
