Northern Lower Peninsula hotel rooms a the Best Western

"We got a room on the first floor with patio. Wonderful view from patio/window and exit to the beach. Chairs/towels are available. We rented a boat next to the hotel. Nice experience. Hotel offers free breakfast, but it is not worth it, better to go to the local restaurants which are a lot around the hotel. Clean, quiet hotel (furniture are bit outdated)."

"Nice location right on Lake Huron and only five minutes from the ferry to Mackinac Island. Building and rooms were a touch outdated but very comfortable and clean. There is a nice bar/restaurant steps from the hotel which is a nice touch. There is a 24/7 pool/hot tub that can be used by adults and a fitness center (I did not use but seemed to be good options). Ample parking and great location. Would stay again! "

"Wonderful place. Beautiful grounds. Do the 6:15am free Sunrise hike. It’s 45 minutes round trip including the time seeing the sunrise. The rooms are a little dated but the building was a mission for clergy. I didn’t try the food inside but looked like pizza, burgers and mac n cheese for kids. "
