"Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Subway was right on our doorstep allowing easy links to kyoto station in 9 minutes. We went for a room with lounge access which is a must. Good selection of drinks tp help you unwind after exploring this lovely city. Lots of food places nearby including Nishiki market. We originally had a booking at the Hilton but so glad we changed our mind. "

"Stayed 4 nights at Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu, best decision ever!! Let's start with friendly staff, check-in went smooth, all toiletries self service next to the elevator. Room is clean and spacious, as a matter of fact the biggest one among all the hotels we stayed in Japan. Perfect location on the main shopping districts, Nishiki market is only 2 minutes walk, subway and train stations also within minutes walk. Lastly, plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from."

"The staff was helpful during our stay. We did luggage transfer from Kyoto to Tokyo and the staff helped us with the process. The room was very clean, water pressure in the shower was amazing. "Room and bathroom was very clean and very big for Japan standards. Bed was comfortable. I appreciated all the outlets and storage space. Lobby has free coffee, tea, sake, ice, water. Location convenient next to 7/11 and subway station. Yakisoba restaurant nearby was very good. I would 100% stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone."
