"I stayed six nights solo at Hotel Forza Kyoto in a twin room, and overall it was one of my favorite hotel stays in Japan. The biggest highlight for me was the bathroom setup. The deep soaking tub and separate shower room were absolutely wonderful after walking 20,000+ steps a day exploring Kyoto. The shower had water jets and spray options everywhere you could want them, which felt amazing on tired muscles and feet after long sightseeing days.
Another thing I really appreciated was the 24-hour coffee availability and the daily complimentary sake service, which became a relaxing little treat each evening before heading out or winding down for the night.
The location was excellent — directly across from Nishiki Market and within walking distance or easy public transportation access to almost everywhere I wanted to visit in Kyoto. It was also very convenient for shopping, restaurants, subway access, and exploring the city both day and night.
The room amenities were plentiful, and I especially appreciated having a makeup mirror, something several other hotels during my trip did not provide. Small detail, but very helpful.
I also used the hotel’s self-service laundry facilities. They have four washer/dryer combo machines, and as long as guests are considerate about removing their laundry promptly, the wait was very manageable.
The only thing missing for me was an in-room safe, which would have been nice for passports and valuables. But aside from that, Hotel Forza was comfort"
