Top Northeast Iowa Hotel Reviews
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cedar Falls, IA
10/10 Excellent
"Upon arrival, the desk staff was helpful and informative. Gave clear instructions where the elevator and room were located. Room was clean, organized and modern. Very well managed. Parking was exceptional. Bike and walking path are right off the parking lot. Breakfast Iwas well supplied and serving area clean and organized."
Grand Harbor Resort
8/10 Good
"The view was amazing. We ended up on the top floor overlooking the Mississippi River without asking. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I liked that they had pancakes instead of the normal waffles. It would have been a smidge better if the machine was faster but not a big deal. The water park was perfect for the three kids aged 7-9. Max depth was 4ft in one area and way less everywhere else. So they could touch without a problem. They loved it and we spent three days there. Lazy River was small but it did the job for myself. Water Park did not open until 3pm each day and closed at 8pm so that cut down swim time. Would have liked longer hours and the food stand being open weekdays. The kids told me that slide rules changed based on who was working. Sometimes they could go backwards and sometimes they got in trouble for it. The arcade had alot of broken down games. We made the best of it but it was hard to rack up points with minimal games to play. The machine to get prizes was also down so prizes at the desk were limited. We would stay here again, those are just minor details that we know we have to work around for next time. But if you are planning to swim all day, go on a weekend. Price point was a plus. We stayed 3 nights for what would have cost us one day in the dells. This place ended up being a good experience."

Holiday Inn Dubuque/Galena by IHG

"Overall experience was great! I had played baseball all day at the field of dreams, and need the night to sleep somewhere with my family. The staff was very friendly and helpful."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Waterloo, IA

"We enjoyed staying at the hotel and would do it again if we are down there again"
Tesla MedBed Center, East Dubuque
10/10 Excellent
"I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a very quiet place to get away, with a comfortable bed with nice linens, a lovely view (beyond the vast parking lot), and close proximity to Dubuque and Galena, where there are nice restaurants, cafes, fun bars, historical places to visit, and great sightseeing. I grew up in Dubuque, and loved it while there from age eight until I married at age 22. Lived in Chicago, in Portland, Oregon, and moved back to Iowa (Iowa City) when I was 35. I have loved this area my entire life, and now, in my 70s, long to move back where my siblings stayed as I traveled the world. This hotel afforded me rest and calm! 💖"
